Brandon Performing Arts Center

The Brandon Performing Arts Center will be a 15,000 square-foot, stand-alone building, housing a 500 seat auditorium with a proscenium stage; a smaller "black box" theater for more intimate performances or dinner theater;  state of the art lighting and sound systems in both rooms;  a 3,000 square-foot scene shop; a costume shop, storage area and prop storage room; a library of theatrical, music and dance publications; one large rehearsal room, two smaller rehearsal spaces and several intimate teaching cubicles; a box office; office space for building administration and theater personnel.  The building is designed to give all performing artists a place to perform and practice their art.  It is designed to provide citizens of Brandon a place where they may experience quality performing arts by local amateur and professional talent.

Art defines a community.

To ensure the success of the BPAC, your help is needed.  Stagedoor Performing Arts, Inc. is conducting a capital campaign to raise $500,000, with the balance of $5,000,000 to be provided with state and federal grant monies.  The beginning of the campaign was the Honorary Mayor's Race in Brandon during the month of June. We raised over $5000 toward our goal!  We are going to continue to have fundraising events over the next couple of years and begin applying for grants right away.  Stay tuned, thanks for your help and let's make it happen!
